YMusic is a free music application for mobile by developer KDEV. It's a media player that can be used to play locally stored audio files, as well as videos streaming from YouTube. With the latter, it lets them listen to audio streams even when outside of the app.

With the help of the YMusic app, users will finally be able to enjoy listening to their favorite YouTube videos podcast-style as they are playing in the background. It also serves as a capable music player for their stored media with various playback features and options to configure.

Long-requested feature

A couple of things before proceeding, though. The UI design is already a little outdated, and second, it consumes a lot of system resources, so it won't do well on lower-powered devices.

It could use a UI redesign and some further performance optimizations, but aside from those, this is worth checking out.
